How it works
No config files and nothing to open on your router. Your Mac connects out, your phone pairs with a code.
It lives in your menu bar, starts at login and can keep your Mac awake while it's plugged in.
Scan the code with your iPhone. Both screens show the same four words, so you know it's your Mac.
From Home, a widget, Siri or chat. Watch the output live and stop it from anywhere.
Features
Saved commands run instantly, free and the same way every time. AI helps you pick and build them. It never freestyles.
Press record and work in your terminal like you always do. Stop, review the steps, and they're a command on your phone.
Deleting files, sudo, restarts and new shell commands wait for you, every time.
Chat picks the right saved command and fills in the details. New shell commands always need your approval.
Servers and scripts keep running in the background. Follow their logs, then stop or restart them from your phone.
Your favorites on the Home Screen, in Control Center, on your wrist, or one sentence away.
Your commands show up as tools in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Risky runs still wait for Face ID.
When a command isn't enough, view your Mac's screen live and tap to click. Always with your approval.
Security
Your phone and your Mac talk end to end encrypted. Our relay passes messages along without being able to read them.
Commands are sealed on your phone and opened only by your Mac.
Your Mac connects out. There's nothing to forward and nothing exposed.
Deleting files, sudo, shutdowns and new shell commands need you, every time.
Rules on your Mac check every run. AI suggests commands; it never runs anything by itself.
A tamper-evident activity log on your Mac and your phone shows who ran what, and when.
Morsekey never stores your Mac password and can't unlock your Mac. On purpose.
FAQ
A remote control for your Mac. You save commands, like starting a dev server, locking the screen or playing a playlist, and run them from your iPhone, a widget, Siri, the built-in chat, or AI apps like Claude and ChatGPT. It's not an AI agent that drives your Mac by itself.
No. Install the Mac app and scan a code with your phone. Your Mac connects out to our relay, so there's nothing to forward on your router and nothing exposed to the internet.
No. Messages between your phone and your Mac are encrypted end to end, and the relay only passes ciphertext along. The one exception is chat: when you use it, your conversation goes to the AI provider through our proxy, and the app tells you so first.
No. AI can pick a saved command or propose a new one, but every run goes through the guard on your Mac: plain code, not AI. New shell commands from chat always need your approval, and dangerous ones need Face ID.
Your Mac needs to be on and connected. Morsekey can keep it awake while it's plugged in, and your phone shows when it's asleep or offline. It can't unlock your Mac remotely, by design.
A Mac with macOS 15 or later and an iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Apple Watch, widgets and Siri come with the iPhone app. A web client for Android and other browsers is planned.
There will be a free plan. Pricing for the rest will be announced before launch, and people on the waitlist hear first.
